Member of the Mainichi Shodo Association, an invited artist at the Kanagawa Art Exhibition, and a member of the Japan Poetry and Calligraphy Association, she has developed a unique world of calligraphy that evokes vivid imagery. She has received the prestigious “Mainichi Prize” at the Mainichi Shodo Exhibition, Japan’s largest public calligraphy competition. Combining her mastery of calligraphy with her sensibilities as a modern poetry and painting artist, she creates works rich in emotional depth that are full of scenery.
