Calligrapher Issai Tanaka, with his outstanding brush strokes and design sensibility, has created an expressive artwork by using the strength of the characters, which are reminiscent of sumo wrestlers.

Each calligrapher has expressed the Kanji of Tokyo’s place names and famous landmarks in expressive calligraphic lines that broaden the image of the place, allowing the viewer to enjoy the scenery that changes from moment to moment.
